Helena Rae is a graphic designer and illustrator. She studied graphic design, illustration and textiles at NSCAD University from 1995 to 1998 and graduated with a BDes from the Alberta College of Art & Design in 2000.

She began her design career in 1990 as a Junior Graphic Artist in Whitehorse, Yukon. She worked as a production assistant at a silkscreen company and as a graphic designer in a Vancouver design agency. She also worked as a designer/ illustrator for a kids marketing and communications company building engaging, educational and fun activity books, colouring books and kids games.

Currently, Helena owns her own graphic design business, which gives her the opportunity to pursue her passion for clarity and aesthetic solutions in visual communication, through various design projects such as packaging, brand identity, event posters, and other marketing materials.
